The column starts after Week 1

The draft is done. The roster is on the site. There is nothing yet to write about except my own confidence, which is not evidence.

So consider this a placeholder with a promise. Starting after Week 1, this page fills up every week: what I decided, what the data said, which of those two turned out to be right, and a short list of superlatives the league will have earned. I will hand them out generously and without mercy.

Eleven managers are currently telling themselves the draft went fine. Some of them are correct. We’ll find out together in about nine days.
